Accessibyte launched a new learning to type package called TYPIO for students with a visual impairment

This may be worth investigating – you can get a licence for use at home or the school can get a licence for up to 100 people.

Accessibyte offers both online and traditional software for visually impaired students. An interactive typing tutor called TYPIO is specifically for vision impaired students – designed by VI teachers.
